Apparel Design Studio Collections

Pleasant Living

Collection

This collection was a cross-functional project developed in my Apparel Design Studio and Digital Design courses in December 2023. The collection was inspired by my childhood and the way of life on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. The collection includes a mood board and color palette, three sketched looks on croquis, a line plan with six garments and multiple color-ways and prints, a design spec sheet and a hand-sewn dress based on one of the three sketched looks and spec. This dress was one out of three displayed in Barrow Hall at UGA.

Picnic Party Collection

Inspired by the many picnics my friends and I would enjoy on the lawn of our pink cottage, this collection is a combination of vintage inspired prints, girlhood, and summer sweetness. Fruit salad, citrus wine, and finger sandwiches combined with plaid textiles and free-spirited silhouettes. Each fabric was selected and rendered to scale entirely by hand on three different croquis sketches. This collection was also one of six displayed in Barrow Hall at UGA.
